Damn, Fitch has a pretty good salary for not being on a main card. Stout only made 6k?

Not a bad for the budget that ufc seems to be on.

Fitch made out very well for a fight night damnnn. Include that number with sponsorships, etc he is looking at a $50,000 night eassssssyy. I always knew there was a solid difference between purses in terms of winner and loser but wow Fischer walked away with 26k and Stout only got 6k geezZZ.

The way it works is each fighter gets a dollar amount which is how much he will get paid, if he loses. The winner gets double the amount said. So for the Fitch fight, it was Fitch = $18k and Roan = $5K. Since Fitch won, he got double, so its $36k. If Roan won, it would have been Fitch = $18k and Roan = $10k

Compared to the top salary guys- Couture, Liddell and now Jackson… UFN means U Fight (fer) Nuthin.

They should add Dana White’s payday to the list

Can’t say the pay Stout is getting is good, but I’m glad to see Fitch make some decent change for the event.

Man they are fleecing these fighters big time. I guess White and the owners just light cigars with hundred dollar bills…

This is before, and not including signing bonuses, sponsorships, percentages and other unofficial earnings like “Fight of the Night”.

So if that is the case, Fitch would have made 72k?
Im not sure if the ‘winning’ purse is included in this ’salary’ ‘earnings’ or ‘not’ is what Im ‘getting’ at.

Now that UFC hold most of the top fighters and are the only company rich enough to pay their salaries, they probably think that no one can afford to steal their fighters so why put up the salaries.

36 grand is a good payday for fitch, but stout only getting 6 grand for a fight of the year candidate is robbery…

i’m sure he got a bonus for fight of the night, but still…

i feel sorry for some of the lower level guys
$3k for a fight is awful

couldnt train for 2-3 months on that
would struggle to pay the rent
then food and flights to the event

i know they get sponsorship and extra bonuses but it seems incredibly low

a quick google suggest a crowd of 5000

im sure the average ticket went for more than $35
the spike money and all the advertising from xyience etc must bring in a packet for the UFC
as must the merchandise sales related to the event

as it wasnt ppv they wont be getting a cut of ppv sales which is big money

id expect UFC itself to have made a couple of mill profit from this

shame the fighters dont get to see much of it

The UFC retirement plan is fight until you die. As a matter of fact, Ken Shamrock is on it.

Kos wont be seeing any of those envelopes anytime soon, well maybe when he gets his ass haned to him in his up coming fight with GSP.

Dam Stout only made 6000 gran dat totally sucks espicially when u train with couture n preparing for a fight. Taking mentally and physical pain. I wouldnt want to fight in the ufc if i was getting paid like that. Come on putting yo body on a line like that, then u only get paid 6 gran.

All those fighters were underpaid. The UFC has all their fighters over a barrel. Let’s face it the UFC is the only place they can make “top” dollar. I thought monopolies were illegal. God this reminds me of Don King and boxing. Our warriors desrve better.
